A 24-week journey through six interconnected learning zones
Bridging the Divide is rooted in project-based learning, where students don't just study history and social issues—they actively engage with them. This course challenges learners to explore the intersections of race, religion, and identity, investigate the historical and psychological roots of division, and design actionable solutions that promote unity and empathy.
Over 24 weeks, students move through six interconnected zones, developing critical thinking, ethical reasoning, communication, and collaboration—the essential skills required to lead change in a fractured world.
Each zone lasts 4 weeks and builds upon the previous, creating a comprehensive learning experience
Students track their progress through reflective self-assessment at key checkpoints (Weeks 4, 12, 18, and 24).
Each student builds a comprehensive portfolio documenting their journey, research, and final initiative.
